We are one of the largest and fastest-growing municipalities in Stockholm. The operations unit manages the municipality's public outdoor spaces to create safe, accessible, secure, and inviting environments. We work with the operation and maintenance of our public outdoor environments in parks, residential nature areas, playgrounds, roads, and squares. We are driven to create and develop sustainable environments with a focus on biodiversity, safety, and good working conditions. In the Parks and Technical Department's operations unit, we now need to strengthen our operations team with seasonal staff - park workers who want to help manage and develop our public environments.

Your Mission

We are looking for you who want to work in Haninge's parks, green areas, and urban environments. In collaboration with friendly and knowledgeable colleagues, you will work with the maintenance of flower beds, cleaning, perennials in pots, watering, lawn mowing, weeding, brush clearing, and other common tasks within operations.

You are part of a team, and your tasks also include planning and reporting. Since the unit manages the operation of streets, squares, and traffic arrangements, it is also part of the mission to support these areas of work as needed.

You are quality-conscious and want to contribute to our municipality with a focus on a safe and enjoyable outdoor environment. We help each other and share responsibility for the whole.

In your interactions with colleagues and residents, you need to have good collaboration skills, be positive, and service-oriented. It is important that you are flexible and can solve tasks both independently and together with your colleagues.

What We Are Looking For

Requirements:

• Driver's license B
• Relevant education and experience in park/green space maintenance in a public environment or documented equivalent experience.
• Good knowledge of Swedish.
