Dog Caretaker Wanted for Dog Daycare in Sollentuna (75%)

We are now looking for an engaged and responsible dog caretaker for our dog daycare in Sollentuna. We have three cozy and homely locations – two in Häggvik and one near Sollentuna Center – all close to green areas and dog parks.

Our goal is for all dogs to feel safe, balanced, and at home with us. The well-being of the dogs is always our focus and permeates our entire operation.

About the Position

The position is 75% (6 hours per day) with the possibility of extended hours.

Responsibilities include:

• Group walks twice a day
• Opening and closing the dog daycare
• Feeding dogs that have lunch
• Dog grooming such as nail clipping and bathing
• Daily cleaning of the premises
• Customer contact and service
• Creating a safe, calm, and pleasant environment for the dogs

Who Are We Looking For?

We are looking for someone who is:

• Punctual, responsible, and reliable
• Experienced with dogs or has a strong desire to learn
• Independent but also enjoys working in a team
• Positive, solution-oriented, and social

You should be able to handle both small and large dogs with different temperaments and go on longer walks with dogs in groups. You care for the dogs with care and respect, as if they were your own. Customer contact is a natural part of the job, and you greet both dogs and dog owners with a smile.

Requirements

• You have experience with dogs

• You are in good physical shape, as we are out walking for about 3-4 hours every day

Meritorious

• Education in dog care at high school or university

• Previous experience working at a dog daycare
