Arrival Inspector for Quality Inspection Group at Saab Surveillance

We are now looking for an arrival inspector for an assignment in the Quality Inspection group at Saab Surveillance in Gothenburg. In this role, you will review and control the quality of incoming materials from our suppliers – mainly in areas such as mechanics, subsystems, circuit boards, and cabling. You will ensure that the products meet the specified requirements according to drawings and standards, handle deviations, and drive investigations in collaboration with purchasing and engineering.

As part of this recruitment process, a background check in the criminal record and credit register will be conducted prior to potential employment, in accordance with the client's requirements.

Your main tasks

• Ensure that products meet drawing requirements and quality standards
• Manage and follow up on supplier deviations
• Participate in problem-solving and drive simpler technical investigations
• Documentation and reporting
• Location: Gothenburg

Who are you?

We are looking for someone with a good understanding of mechanics and a keen eye for detail. You are analytical, meticulous, and thrive in a role where you can contribute to raising the quality level. You enjoy solving problems, work in a structured manner, and prefer to see opportunities rather than obstacles.

We would like you to have:

• Experience in mechanical manufacturing and a strong technical interest
• A technical education at the upper secondary or post-secondary level
• Good ability to interpret technical drawings and documentation
• A curious and driven personality

Desirable experiences:

• Quality engineering or quality assurance
• Knowledge of composite materials, surface treatment, and painted mechanics
• Previous work in the manufacturing industry
• Experience with Creo
