About the Role

As a Municipality and Regional Coordinator, you will be part of the Department of Municipalities & Regions within Demand-Responsive Transport. Here, we work to secure and develop the conditions for special public transport – transport services, medical trips, and school taxis – in close collaboration with 45 municipalities and the Västra Götaland Region.

You will:

• Lead, drive, and develop collaboration between our clients and between clients and Västtrafik
• Work proactively with analysis and follow-up of both conditions and outcomes
• Engage in qualified dialogue with municipalities and the region based on analysis and common goals
• Create conditions for sustainable and coordinated transport through dialogue, information, and education
• Drive and participate in both physical and digital meeting platforms, a central part of the role where comfort in verbal communication is important

Qualifications

• Experience working with collaboration with external actors
• Familiarity with communicating and informing verbally and in writing
• Experience in follow-up, dialogue, and analytical work
• Post-secondary education in fields such as economics, law, or social sciences, or other equivalent experience

It is advantageous if you have experience with general or special public transport, as well as experience working with follow-up or development of contracts. It is also a plus if you have worked closely with municipalities, regions, or other politically governed organizations. Personal suitability is of great importance.

The position is a permanent full-time employment located in Skövde. The position may involve travel to our various offices in the Västra Götaland Region. Depending on the assignment, the position may also be placed in a security class. Start date according to agreement.
