About the position

Perido is now looking for a customs declarant for our client's operations. They are a large and well-known player in the automotive industry. Here, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the development of a modern and future-proof supply chain in an organization characterized by collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement. The position is based in Gothenburg.

Your responsibilities

As a customs declarant, you will belong to a team whose common focus is to ensure high compliance, protect production units, and ensure that goods flows do not get stuck in customs handling.

The role is very operational and suits you who can quickly immerse yourself in the tasks and contribute from the start.

Responsibilities

• Operational handling of customs declarations
• Preparation and review of customs-related documents
• Ensure correct handling of customs regulations, restrictions, and documentation
• Ongoing customs handling related to imports and exports
• Contribute to high compliance in the customs area
• Support the business to ensure efficient and uninterrupted goods flows

Your qualities

We are looking for someone who is confident, self-sufficient, and structured, with solid customs knowledge. You thrive in an operational role and have the ability to quickly grasp the tasks and deliver value from day one.

We are looking for someone who has:

• Experience in operational customs handling
• Practical experience working with customs declarations
• Good understanding of customs regulations, documentation, and restrictions
• Ability to work independently in an operational and niche role
• Fluency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written

Meritorious:

• Logistics education
• Experience from a similar role within a larger organization

Scope and start date

Full-time, consulting assignment for 6 months with a good chance of extension. Immediate start.
