As a colleague is leaving, we at Hr Björkmans Entrémattor are looking for a new colleague in distribution for the team in Gothenburg.

Role Description

As a distributor, you will be based at the unit in Hisings Backa and be responsible for ensuring that customers in Gothenburg and the surrounding area receive world-class service and support. You will belong to a smaller team and work independently in your role as a distributor.

Your tasks include;

• picking up and delivering entrance mats to our customers
• planning and optimizing routes to ensure efficient work
• identifying and creating opportunities for upselling
• inventory management (sorting and packing mats)
• maintenance and care of the distribution vehicle
• assisting with distribution in the Jönköping region as needed

The job involves daily customer contact and requires you to be service-oriented and enjoy interacting with customers. You will have close communication with production and customer service in Malmö and inform them about changes and deviations. The work is physically demanding and requires that you are in good physical condition.

You will be part of an experienced team and will have access to the equipment and knowledge you need to perform your job in the best way. The position begins with an introduction, where you will learn more about the company and the tasks and have the opportunity to ride along and work with experienced staff.

The position is to be filled immediately and is full-time. Working hours are 07:00-16:00, Monday to Friday, with some flexibility.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone who thrives in a service role with a lot of responsibility and independent work. You are service-oriented, enjoy meeting customers, and understand the importance of good customer interaction and service. Interest or aptitude for sales is a plus.

You have a couple of years of work experience, not necessarily as a distributor, and preferably have worked in a physically demanding role before and are used to taking responsibility for your tasks. Good local knowledge is an advantage, and we would like you to live with good commuting options to the workplace. A B driver's license (manual) is a requirement for the position, as well as good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing, as communication internally and with customers is conducted in Swedish. If you have a forklift license for a reach truck, that is an advantage.

As a person, you are organized, self-driven, and reliable, and you take great responsibility for your work. Your work ethic is high, and you are prepared to take on the tasks required to get the job done and satisfy customers. You have a positive attitude, are solution-focused and communicative, and can handle stressful situations and time pressure. The ability to collaborate and manage change is also important in this role.
