Groundskeeper Position

ISS has an exciting collaboration with a customer in the automotive industry that has several sites in Sweden. We are now looking for an engaged Groundskeeper for our operations and maintenance assignment with this customer in Köping, for the season from April to October.

About the Role

You will be responsible for keeping the customer's green areas tidy. The assignment includes mowing, maintaining flower beds, bushes, and trees, as well as planting and watering. It helps if you are technical and handy as there are about 6 robotic lawnmowers on site that sometimes need to be checked.

The position is a fixed-term employment from April 1 to October 31.

Who Are We Looking For?

You have experience in grounds maintenance and/or education in gardening combined with a preference for active outdoor work – regardless of the weather.

You communicate fluently in Swedish, both spoken and written, and have good IT skills - e.g., Microsoft Office and case management systems, and you have a B driver's license.

You have customer focus – To thrive in this role, you need to genuinely care about service and love the everyday challenges that arise. You are solution-oriented and positive. You deliver what is promised and have the ability to create strong customer relationships.

You take responsibility – You enjoy the role of Groundskeeper and having daily contact with several stakeholders, colleagues, and suppliers to create efficiency and a workplace with a high technical standard.

You are driven – You have high integrity, are not afraid to roll up your sleeves, and you keep your promises, both to your colleagues and to the customer and the customer's employees. You see opportunities and provide suggestions for improvements that can lead to the development of our collaboration with the customer.

You are aware of the situation – You have the ability to work both preventively and reactively. You have some understanding of how contracts, legal requirements, and regulations affect operations as well as the execution of your own tasks. You thrive close to the customer in a dynamic and changing production environment where you have the opportunity to interact with many varying contact points both internally and externally.
