We are today a well-known and appreciated brand within the horse industry with a focus on high-quality roughage. The business also includes the sole proprietorship Holmbohästgård with a small horse breeding operation and livestock production. The business is located in Ransta, about thirty kilometers north of Västerås.

We are now looking for a Production Manager/Team Leader who wants to take responsibility for our production and cultivation – and be a key person in our continued development.

About the position

As a production manager, you will have a central role where you are responsible for planning, executing, and following up on the production of high-quality horse feed. You will lead and participate in the daily work in the field and ensure efficient operations, high quality, and a good working environment.

Examples of tasks:

• Plan and lead production and cultivation
• Supervise staff
• Manage deliveries and customer contacts
• Operate, handle, and train staff in the company's machinery
• Quality assurance of roughage production
• Participate in the development of the business
• Some administration and digital follow-up

Who we are looking for

We are looking for someone with a genuine interest in agriculture and preferably also in the equine industry. You thrive in a leadership role, are solution-oriented, and have a strong sense of quality.

We would like you to have

Requirements:

• Driver's license B
• Fluent in Swedish and English

Meritorious:

• Experience in agriculture, crop production, or roughage production
• Good machinery and tractor experience
• Ability to lead and motivate staff
• Good stress tolerance and flexibility
• A structured and goal-oriented approach to work
• Interest in technology and digital tools
• Knowledge of social media is a plus
• BE/B96 driver's license
• Truck driver's license and YKB
• Experience from the horse industry
