About the role In the role of Application Engineer, you will have a strong focus on educating and supporting customers, salespeople, and colleagues with technical solutions and calculations. You will be responsible for the design of drive systems, primarily gear motors and frequency converters, and work closely with automation colleagues to develop and deliver complete, customized solutions.

You will work broadly, from technical expert and advisor in early project phases to application adaptations, support, and training. With the support of knowledgeable colleagues, well-developed calculation tools, and extensive technical documentation, you will help ensure that the right solution is delivered quickly, efficiently, and with high quality. The role offers a varied, developing, and energetic everyday life.

The role includes about 20 travel days per year, mainly within Sweden. Training on new products will be provided locally in Jönköping and at Drive Academy at the headquarters in Bruchsal, Germany.

Your Profile We are looking for someone who is a Bachelor of Science in Engineering in mechanical engineering or mechatronics and has a few years of work experience in the field. Experience with drive systems and automation solutions from the manufacturing industry is highly meritorious.
