We are now looking for service and decontamination staff for the Forsmark nuclear power plant during two maintenance periods.

Job Responsibilities The role involves performing service and decontamination work at Forsmark Nuclear Power Plant, where safety and precision are of utmost importance. The purpose is to reduce the spread of contamination by cleaning common areas, components, tanks, system parts, pipes, and valves from both radioactive and conventional pollution.

Possible job tasks include:

• Building tents and coverings

• Housekeeping (waste removal, tidiness)

• High-pressure washing

The work means you contribute to maintaining a safe, clean, and well-organized work environment. You will work in environments with ionizing radiation and use protective equipment and masks.

Your Profile We expect you to:

• be at least 18 years old and preferably have completed a high school education.

• understand and express yourself in Swedish, both spoken and written.

Meritorious

• Driving license B

• Forklift and crane certificates

• Previous experience in industrial decontamination is advantageous.

We believe that you, as a candidate, are social and enjoy working in a team while being unpretentious and able to maintain a high work pace. You have a strong safety mindset, an eye for detail, and a good understanding of the operations. You always perform your work carefully and with high quality. Order and tidiness are very important in this position.

Position Employment Type: Maintenance work during: Period 1: week 10 - week 25 Period 2: week 36 - week 47

As the position operates in security-classified areas, you will undergo a security clearance before employment can begin. Since this process can take up to 8 weeks, it is advisable to submit your application as early as possible.
