We are now looking for three cleaning staff with coordination responsibility who want to take an active role in the daily operations of cleaning services at SLU Uppsala. The assignment includes, in close collaboration with the cleaning manager, supporting colleagues and contributing to structure, quality, and a good working environment.

You will work operationally with cleaning while also having a coordinating responsibility where your engaged and encouraging approach is central.

Job Responsibilities

As a cleaning staff member with coordination responsibility, you play an important role in the daily operations of cleaning services at SLU. You work operationally with cleaning while, together with other coordinators, contribute to structure, planning, and a well-functioning workflow. The assignment involves supporting colleagues in their daily work, being a role model in work methods and quality, and contributing to a good working environment through an engaged and encouraging attitude.

The role also includes introducing and mentoring new employees, ensuring that routines and quality requirements are followed, and using digital systems for planning, reporting, and communication in daily work.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with experience in cleaning who enjoys taking responsibility and creating structure in everyday life. You have good collaboration skills and a clear, respectful, and encouraging manner in your interactions with colleagues. You need to have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, as well as good computer skills and the ability to work in standard programs such as email, Word, and Excel.

The position requires a B driver's license.

About Us

The Department of Infrastructure, Infra, is part of the central operational support at the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences.

Infra's task is to provide cost-effective, tailored, and well-functioning service solutions both locally at our main locations Umeå, Uppsala, and Alnarp where we are represented, but also to contribute to service development for the entire SLU.

Overall, the department also handles local supply issues and rental administration, as well as guiding and providing competence support in environmental and safety issues. We and our employees are expected to actively contribute to the university's development through engagement and initiative. Infra has about 120 employees and an annual turnover of around 110 million SEK.
