Assignment Description

We are looking for an experienced Automation Electrical Design Engineer.

What you will work on

• Acting as the responsible electrical designer in automation projects
• Electrical design and development of customized control systems
• Performing technical calculations and creating system documentation
• Contributing to product development and maintenance of existing products
• Providing technical support to production, installation, and service teams
• Supporting project managers in development and delivery projects
• Assisting sales teams with technical input during quotation and pre-sales phases
• Collaborating closely with engineering, product management, and project teams

What you bring

• Relevant engineering degree or equivalent practical experience
• At least 5 years of experience as an electrical design engineer within automation
• Strong background in electrical design and industrial automation systems
• Experience with programming and control systems (PLC and automation tools)
• Experience in technical coordination and project-based work
• Proven ability to produce clear and structured technical documentation
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across functions
• Ability to work independently and take technical ownership of solutions
• Excellent skills in AutoCAD Electrical (mandatory)
• Experience with SolidWorks Electrical and SISTEMA
• Familiarity with tools such as Drive Composer, Machine Expert, Operator Terminal Expert, and SoMove (advantageous)
• Good proficiency in both Swedish and English
• Valid B driving license for occasional customer visits
