We are seeking a Lead Mechanical Engineer to join our customer's team in Lund!

Requirements• Min +8 years’ experience. • Good experience with 3D CAD design, preferably Catia, Creo and NX for consumer products. • Good experience with plastic parts design and injection molding. • Experience in conceptual work including ID and mechanical architecture for electronic consumer products. • Good experience in coordinating design work in a distributed team of CAD designers and leading external development partners. • Close collaboration with engineers and suppliers in multiple locations and coordination with other functions such as HW, RF, PMs, and management. • Lead design reviews, detecting weaknesses and providing solutions. • Good experience with IPx (water, dust protection) requirements. • Experience in preparing technical documentation for testing, manufacturing, and certification. • Experienced with design for manufacturing/assembly, reliability, and FMEA. • Good knowledge in mechanical testing and validation tools and processes. • Good experience with tolerance calculations. • Great team player with a curiosity to learn new things and openly share knowledge. • Flexible to changing conditions. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
