We are looking for a skilled automation engineer for programming, control, and support of our industrial refrigeration systems and heat pumps at our refrigeration technology department in Vøyenenga (Oslo).

You will be part of a team that you will work closely with. Additionally, you will have regular dialogue with project managers, salespeople, technicians, and customers on a daily basis. The workplace will primarily be at our location in Vøyenenga.

Your work will include:

• Programming Siemens PLCs and HMI panels, as well as iFIX HMI/SCADA.
• Design, commissioning, troubleshooting, and support of control systems for industrial refrigeration and heat pump systems.
• Network communication
• Customer and supplier contact
• Sales of new projects/reconstruction of existing control systems
• Facility follow-up
• Travel, primarily in Norway

We are looking for individuals with the following qualifications:

• Engineering degree or technical college education in electrical/automation
• Good IT skills and understanding
• Experience working with industrial automation
• Experience with PLC programming (Siemens TIA)
• Structured and independent
• High degree of customer orientation, service attitude, and team spirit
• Good Norwegian and English skills, both spoken and written

The following qualifications are viewed positively:

• Experience with programming PLCs, touch panels, and SCADA
• Vocational certificate in electrical/automation
• Refrigeration technical knowledge
