Operations and Maintenance Technician

RESPONSIBILITIES

Your tasks will involve being responsible for the technical operation and maintenance of HVAC, SRÖ, electrical, and cooling systems, with a focus on the buildings' HVAC systems.

As an operations and maintenance technician, you will typically work within a geographical area. You are responsible for planning your own schedule based on the tasks to be performed. This means a flexible position with freedom under responsibility. Together with other operations and maintenance technicians, you will also perform joint tasks and exchanges of experience.

We actively work with energy efficiency and carry out several projects in the form of development and optimization. In your role, you may become involved in these. We invest heavily in new technology and promote innovative solutions. This means that as an operations and maintenance technician with us, you will learn to work with today's technology and, in many cases, even tomorrow's.

We work a lot on developing our technical systems, which creates a role where development never stops. The property department of Karlskrona municipality is far ahead in terms of technical level regarding property automation, which facilitates the work of an operations and maintenance technician.

On-call duty may be included in the position and is mandatory, requiring a response time of about 30 minutes.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Technical operation and maintenance education at the university level or equivalent HVAC training
• Education and competence in the area of energy efficiency
• Knowledge of electrical work
• Knowledge of schematic and drawing reading
• Knowledge of measurement technology
• Experience working with computerized control, regulation, and monitoring systems
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Driver's license B

You will work closely with our tenants, which requires you to be outgoing, communicative, and trustworthy. You are meticulous, responsible, self-driven, and have an easy time collaborating.
