We need to strengthen the district heating organization with a district heating technician, as our new biomass boiler will soon be put into operation and technical maintenance of the network and customer centers is becoming increasingly important.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a key player in our operations organization, you contribute to ensuring a safe, efficient, and sustainable heat supply. Together, we are responsible for the operation and monitoring of our production and backup facilities, including the ORC facility for electricity production, as well as the district heating network and customer facilities.

The work includes planned and corrective maintenance of production facilities, customer centers, and distribution networks, where you use our maintenance program to structure and follow up on efforts. Monitoring and control are carried out via our SCADA system, which is a central part of the daily work.

The operations group also handles fuel and wheel loader driving as needed, performs service of customer centers according to applicable agreements, and replaces heat meters for district heating customers according to established intervals. The role involves customer contacts and collaboration with suppliers and authorities, as well as standby duty as part of the shared responsibility for ensuring that operations function around the clock.

The role combines independent work with significant responsibility for operation and maintenance within our organization. You have the freedom to plan and execute tasks within given frameworks and report to the district heating manager.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is a certified boiler operator or alternatively has knowledge and experience deemed equivalent. You should have a good technical and practical understanding with the ability to troubleshoot systems in automation, pneumatics, and hydraulics. Practical experience with solid fuel combustion is an advantage.

Good collaboration and communication skills are important, and we want you to be meticulous, positive, and engaged with an interest in developing and the ability to acquire new knowledge.

You have computer skills, training for wheel loader operation, and a B driver's license. Having a C driver's license is an advantage.

Standby duty is included.
