The Logistics area is a central part of Regionservice and has an important mission: to support the operations of Region Blekinge with material supply and transportation.

We play a crucial role in facilitating the daily work of healthcare by ordering and delivering medical supplies and staff clothing, transporting patients, as well as delivering and collecting goods and samples. Additionally, we are responsible for relocating operations to new premises, all to create a smooth and efficient everyday life for the region's operations. Together, we are an organization that supports all of Region Blekinge, with the goal of creating an efficient and well-functioning logistics that makes a difference every day.

At the Transport Department, we work dedicatedly to ensure that Region Blekinge's operations receive the service they need to focus on their important work. We are responsible for a large part of the region's transport services, which include deliveries of supplies, mail, samples, aids, food for patients, laundry, and waste management. With commitment and precision, we create smooth flows seven days a week to meet the needs of the operations in the best way.

The Job

In the role of caretaker at the Transport Department in Karlshamn, you will assist and support all operations in Region Blekinge within the area of transport and caretaking. Your tasks will mainly consist of transporting materials, food, mail, and samples to various departments within the hospital area in Karlskrona, as well as transport to and from health centers and other operations of Region Blekinge throughout the county. The summer position covers approximately 8-10 weeks, starting in weeks 24-25. The working hours are scheduled during the day with planned weekend duties. About You

We are looking for someone who is over 18 years old at the start of employment. You have at least an ongoing high school education or a completed and approved high school education, alternatively other relevant education and documented experience that the employer deems equivalent. You have a B driver's license. We consider it an advantage if you have previous experience in transport or caretaking work, as well as a forklift license.

As a person, you are service-oriented, responsible, and flexible. You enjoy working both independently and in a team, and you have a professional approach towards colleagues and customers. Your attention to detail and ability to adapt to new conditions make you an important resource. Our corporate language is Swedish, so you need to express yourself well in both spoken and written form. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
