About Us

The Logistics area is a central part of Regionservice and has an important mission: to support the operations of Region Blekinge with material supply and transportation.

We play a crucial role in facilitating the daily work of healthcare by ordering and delivering medical supplies, patient textiles, and staff clothing, transporting patients, as well as delivering and collecting goods and samples. In addition, we are responsible for relocating operations to new premises, all to create a smooth and efficient everyday life for the region's operations. Together, we are an organization that supports all of Region Blekinge, with the goal of creating effective and well-functioning logistics that make a difference every day.

The Job

Care-Related Service Functions

Care-related service functions are an important part of Region Blekinge, and within this department, we manage, among other things, staff clothing. Here, we contribute to creating smooth flows and good service for the employees of Region Blekinge. In the department for care-related services, we ensure that care departments/clinics have the materials and textiles they need to care for patients. This work is a crucial part of enabling safe and secure care while supporting the daily work of healthcare staff with high-quality deliveries and service.

As service personnel with us, you will handle laundry and consumables for the care departments. Your tasks include:

  • Ordering, receiving, and unpacking textiles and consumables.
  • Collaborating with healthcare staff to ensure smooth handling.

The work is both social and structured, with many points of contact within the hospital area. It requires accuracy, a sense of responsibility, and a willingness to deliver high-quality service. You will work alongside engaged colleagues in an environment where order and tidiness are crucial to achieving our common goals.

We offer you a stimulating and meaningful job with many personal interactions and significant responsibility. The summer position lasts about 8-10 weeks, starting in week 24. We hope you can work the entire period.

About You

We are looking for someone who is over 18 years old at the start of employment and has completed and approved upper secondary education or other relevant experience and education deemed equivalent by the employer. A B driver's license is required, and it is an advantage if you have previous experience in service work and good computer skills.

As a person, you are meticulous and structured in your work approach, with a natural ability to collaborate and meet others with a positive attitude. You enjoy working independently as well as part of a team, and your positive outlook makes you look forward to contributing to a good working climate. We are looking for someone who, just like us, thinks it should be fun to go to work!

Great importance is placed on personal suitability.

The unit for Logistics and Meal Service consists of departments within kitchen and restaurant, café and shop, transport and maintenance, as well as a resource unit.
