We are looking for an experienced process leader/facilitator with a focus on industrial symbiosis. You will support a regional initiative related to innovation and transition work, where the industry is at the center and collaboration between multiple actors is an important part of the working method.

The assignment involves planning, conducting, and following up a series of workshops that help participating companies understand industrial symbiosis as a method and identify concrete opportunities related to waste flows, needs, and collaboration areas.

• Co-plan workshop structure, goals, and execution in close dialogue with project management and involved actors.
• Facilitate and conduct 3–5 physical workshops with industrial companies (about 5–7 companies per workshop).
• Ensure a structured approach that enhances understanding of industrial symbiosis and enables dialogue about resource flows and symbiosis potential.
• Work based on a well-established and documented methodology for collaboration and innovation processes between companies.
• Document conducted workshops through verbal feedback and written summaries of execution, overarching insights, and identified symbiosis opportunities.

• 5–10 years of documented experience in implementing and developing industrial symbiosis in a municipal or regional context.
• Expertise in industrial symbiosis.
• Knowledge of circular economy.
• Experience with circular strategies and business models.
• Competence in resource efficiency.
• Experience in project management.
• Education at least at the MSc level (engineering or sustainability).
• Ability to lead workshops, mobilize actors, and create structures for co-creation.

• Experience with mission-oriented or systems-oriented innovation processes.
• Experience in cross-sector collaboration between the public sector, businesses, and civil society.
