We are now looking for two seasonal workers to inventory park and street trees during the summer of 2026. This is a task for you who enjoy freedom in your job, appreciate clear methods, and thrive when you can combine nature, technology, and personal responsibility.

YOUR ROLE

In this role, you will map trees in our parks, along streets, and in other green environments around the municipality. You will follow an inventory model where you collect data on the species, diameter, and vitality of the trees. Most of the work is done independently, together with a colleague in the field where the weather and surroundings vary.

YOUR COMPETENCE AND EXPERIENCE

We are looking for someone with good knowledge of trees and vegetation, who is confident in identifying tree species and assessing their vitality. You preferably have completed or ongoing post-secondary education in gardening or parks, such as a horticultural engineer, landscape architect, or other education and experience that can be deemed relevant.

The position involves active and varied work with a lot of time spent outdoors, which suits you if you enjoy working outside in all weather conditions. You have a B driver's license, good computer skills, and are comfortable with digital systems. You express yourself well in Swedish, both verbally and in writing, and have a professional, respectful, and solution-oriented approach when interacting with different people and situations.

To thrive in this role, you are meticulous, independent, and responsible, with a good ability to plan your work and adapt when circumstances change.
