About the Role

As a security guard, you have a genuine desire to build good relationships and respect everyone, regardless of background. You are employed by Securitas but work under the regulations of the police authority. Your main task is to make people feel safe in their daily lives. You do this through your presence in public places, which hopefully has a calming effect, but if the situation requires it, you are expected to act.

Securitas has varied assignments that in one way or another make a significant impact on other people's lives, and here you have the opportunity to make a real difference!

This position is suitable for you who enjoy working with people and want to make a socially important contribution. We have a strong sense of community and a wide range of experience among our colleagues, which enables us to handle most situations. The current assignment involves maintaining order at a socially important operation. You will be based in Varberg and will primarily work night shifts, but also during the day depending on the conditions for filling the shifts.

Varberg is now looking for personnel who are trained security guards with a valid license. The position is full-time night work with a 5-2 schedule.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is a calm and stable person who can maintain composure even when a lot is happening around you. You are humble, team-oriented, and service-minded in your interactions with the public, but you also understand the responsibility of your role and can remain objective when required. Great emphasis will be placed on your personal suitability for the position.

• You have a security guard training and a valid security guard license
• You have good knowledge of Swedish
• B driver's license

For employment within Securitas Sverige AB, you must have approved grades from high school in Swedish and English and be approved by the County Administrative Board for employment in an authorized security company according to the Act (1974:191) on security companies (the application is made by Securitas). Depending on the position, a security clearance according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585) may also be relevant. To investigate and assess whether you meet the requirements to be approved according to each regulation, a background check will be conducted. The assessment concerns compliance with the law, suitability, reliability, loyalty, and any vulnerabilities. Information obtained may come from you, open sources, or authorities. We apply a holistic assessment when evaluating suitability for each position.

Salary and employment conditions are based on the collective agreement between the employer organization Security Companies and the Swedish Transport Workers' Union.
