Job Advertisement: Lifeguard/Swimming Instructor

Just a stone's throw from Skrea beach in Falkenberg lies Klitterbadet, a modern sports and swimming facility. Klitterbadet was built in 1969 as an outdoor pool and initially consisted only of a 50-meter pool and a children's pool. In 1983, Klitterbadet was converted into an indoor pool and has since been expanded with a children's pool, splash pool, hot tub, spinning, and steam sauna. This summer, we will also open the outdoor pool in Vessigebro, which consists of a 25-meter pool with four lanes. There is also a teaching pool and children's pool on the premises.

We are now looking for our new colleagues for the summer who will work both at Klitterbadet and the outdoor pool in Vessigebro!

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Your work as a lifeguard/swimming instructor will be varied as all operational tasks are included and are of a physical nature, such as lifeguarding, swimming instruction, cashier/reception work, and cleaning, etc. You are responsible for the safety and well-being of the guests. At the workplace, we apply rotating shifts, which means that all tasks are included. The position also involves regular evening and weekend shifts.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is at least 18 years old. Swimming proficiency is a requirement, and we conduct tests in swimming and lifesaving. To work as a lifeguard/swimming instructor, you need to be a trained lifeguard/swimming instructor.

If you have current CPR training, experience leading swimming schools, have worked with children and youth, and are or have been active in a sports club, this can be an advantage. Your Swedish is very good in both spoken and written form.

The work involves a lot of customer contact and service, which requires you to be service-oriented and have the initiative to see and take action on what needs to be done. At the same time, you have good teamwork skills, enjoy working in a group, and have good communication skills, which we consider important qualities. Personal suitability is highly valued.
