Job Description

The position is a summer temporary job, so we wish that you are available for work between weeks 25-33. Securitas will assign you a schedule so you can plan your summer with both work and enjoyable activities in good time! Whether you want to work day or night, in a fast-paced or calm environment, Securitas has the job for you.

As an employee at our office in Varberg, you will become part of a close-knit team. The length of shifts is often 12 hours. The current assignment involves working as a security guard in a hospital environment.

As a security guard, you have a genuine desire to build good relationships and respect everyone, regardless of background. You are employed by Securitas but work under the police authority's regulations. Your primary task is to make people feel safe in their daily lives. You do this through presence in public places, and hopefully, it provides a calming effect, but if the situation requires it, you are expected to act.

Securitas has varied assignments that, in one way or another, make a significant impact on other people's lives, and here you have the opportunity to make a real difference!

Requirements

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is a calm and stable person who can keep their composure even when a lot is happening around them. You are humble, team-oriented, and service-minded in your interactions with the public, but you also understand the responsibility in your role and can remain objective when required. Great emphasis will be placed on your personal suitability for the position.

• You have a security guard training and a valid security guard license
• Approved grades in Swedish or English at the high school level
• You have good knowledge of Swedish
• B driver's license

For employment within Securitas Sweden AB, it is required that you have approved grades from high school in Swedish and English and are approved by the County Administrative Board for employment in an authorized security company according to the Act (1974:191) on security companies (the application is made by Securitas). Depending on the position, a security clearance according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585) may also be relevant. To investigate and assess whether you meet the requirements to be approved according to the respective legislation, a background check will be conducted. The assessment concerns legality, suitability, reliability, loyalty, and any vulnerabilities. Information obtained may come from you, open sources, or authorities. We apply a comprehensive assessment when evaluating suitability for each position.

Salary and employment conditions are based on the collective agreement between the employer organization Security Companies and the Swedish Transport Workers' Union.
