We are looking for a 1st Cook for Meal Service

located in the kitchen at Dala Norra School. In this kitchen, three people work, including this position.

Common to all our kitchens is that we use good ingredients and cook from scratch as much as possible.

We also consider that the time between preparation and serving should be as short as possible. Our menu is planned together with the staff. The menu is adjusted according to the season for the sake of taste and the environment.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a 1st Cook, you are responsible for the kitchen, daily operations, and development work. You will be cooking for the school and after-school care.

In daily work, approximately 50 breakfast portions, 250-300 lunch portions, and 50 snack portions are prepared.

In your work, you must be able to safely prepare and handle special diets and allergies. Additionally, traditional kitchen tasks such as dishwashing, cleaning, and self-control are included.

QUALIFICATIONS

Requirements:
• Culinary and Food Program or equivalent education.
• Knowledge of food hygiene, self-control, and special diets.
• Computer skills, orders are made digitally.

Meritorious:
• Knowledge and experience with the dietary program Matilda
• Experience leading work in large-scale kitchens

As a person, you are responsible, service-oriented, flexible, and have good teamwork skills. You should be able to work independently as well as in a group. Personal suitability is highly valued.
