In recent years, advanced care has moved home. In Vänersborg municipality, we can offer you a challenging, educational, and varied job. In Municipal Primary Care, you work independently and have close contact with several great colleagues.

Municipal Primary Care is a pleasant workplace where we care for each other's work environment. You will have a free job where you plan the care around the patients yourself. Our work climate is characterized by a team spirit where we collaborate, support, share knowledge, and help each other.

We also work with Collaborative Healthcare, which involves assistance assignments from other care providers. Our journal system is Lifecare HSL. Other tools include MCSS, SAMSA, NPÖ, and Pascal.

We are responsible for the entire Vänersborg municipality, approximately 1,100 registered patients. Our patients live in ordinary housing, in special housing (Säbo), within social psychiatry, and LSS. We also have an evening team on weekday evenings and a night team.

In our evening and night team, you work in a smaller group with licensed nurses and only during on-call hours. The evening and night team's weekly working hours are 33.20 hours/week.

In Säbo and ordinary housing, we mainly work during the day on weekdays and every 5th weekend, and evening shifts are included on weekends. Full-time measure is 37 hours/week.

Job Responsibilities

Your main job responsibilities consist of performing health and medical care tasks in close collaboration with various professionals.

The basic job tasks include assessing, deciding, documenting, planning, and leading interventions up to the nurse level. As a nurse with us, you are a team leader and have a guiding and advisory role for other professionals in the team around the patient.

Our work includes, among other things, acute assessments, dialysis treatments, tracheostomy and ventilator care, intravenous infusions, and care for patients at the end of life.

In the evening/night, the work mainly involves unplanned care and point interventions, but also recurring visits to patients who need round-the-clock care.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse and feel confident working independently.

You should have good collaboration skills, be solution-focused, and used to prioritizing your tasks.

Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.

A B driver's license is a requirement.

Conditions

When you apply, you will need to specify which areas you are interested in working in, ordinary housing, Säbo, evening and/or night, as well as which weeks you can work.

We prefer that you work one or two consecutive periods. Our vacation periods are weeks 26-29 or weeks 30-33.

Recruitment will take place during the application period.
