Beta Pedagog is now looking for an editor who wants to work broadly with the production of educational materials while taking clear responsibility for the company's digital visibility and content in digital channels.

At Beta Pedagog, we have been present in the Swedish educational materials market since the 1980s. Our customers include preschools, primary schools, and libraries across the country. Approximately half of our revenue comes from self-produced educational materials and books, while the other half consists of purchased material. Our main subject areas are mathematics and Swedish, which is also where we focus our own production.

We currently have 8 employees and had a turnover of about 28 million SEK in 2025. Our office and warehouse are located in Skällinge in Varberg's inland.

As an editor at Beta Pedagog, you will work on producing educational materials and children's books from raw material to finished product. The work includes text, images, and design, where you are responsible for ensuring that the content maintains high linguistic, pedagogical, and graphic quality.

You will be part of the company's editorial team and work closely with other parts of the business. The role is broad and gives you significant responsibility throughout the production chain, from idea and processing to finished production.

An important part of the role is digital marketing, where you will work both strategically and operationally with the company's digital presence. The focus is on SEO/SEM, content production, and publishing, with the goal of ensuring good searchability, relevant reach, and a consistent expression in Beta Pedagog's digital channels.

We all work on-site every day in our premises in scenic Skällinge, which creates close collaboration, short decision-making paths, and good insight into the entire operation.

Your tasks include, among others:

• Processing texts and images for educational materials and children's books

• Production and further development of educational materials

• Text production for the website

• Digital marketing focusing on SEO/SEM, content for social media, and digital campaigns

• Contact and coordination with printing companies

• Participation in fairs

You have a graphic or editorial background and are proficient in Adobe InDesign and Photoshop in your daily work. You work fluently with both text and visual material and have a very good ability to express yourself correctly, clearly, and nuanced in Swedish. Structure, linguistic precision, and quality are natural parts of your working method.

You have a good understanding of digital marketing and how content, SEO/SEM, and visibility interact in digital channels.

You are used to taking responsibility for entire work processes and thrive in a role where you can work broadly, independently, and with a holistic perspective. Experience or understanding of the school world is an advantage.
