Are you a positive and secure person who puts the user's needs in focus? We are now looking for summer temporary staff for the homecoming team for the summer of 2026.
Who are we?
The main task of the Health and Care Office is to meet the needs for support, care, and assistance for people at different stages of life. We are also responsible for providing food to preschools, schools, and the activities of the Health and Care Office. We work with a user-oriented approach where the work is guided by and based on the user's needs.
Together, we are responsible for leading the operations towards set goals and creating a meaningful and secure everyday life for all who need our help. With us, you will have the opportunity to take responsibility and develop both as an employee and as a person.
The Homecoming Team
The Homecoming Team in Norrköping is based at Hantverkaregatan 51 and is a unit with nurses, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and nursing assistants.
The team's mission is to provide support with care and assistance, including rehabilitation, to individuals with extensive and changing needs that cannot currently be met by regular home care and home health care. The need for the homecoming team's interventions may arise after, for example, a hospital stay.
Your Responsibilities
As a nursing assistant or care staff in the homecoming team, you will perform care work, which means providing support and assistance to individuals who cannot meet their basic needs due to illness or disability, as well as interventions delegated by licensed personnel.
You will work in a team together with a nurse, occupational therapist, and physiotherapist, where the individual’s needs for care and assistance are prioritized. Together, you create a sense of security around the individual with a focus on a rehabilitative approach.
The homecoming team is staffed with nursing assistants/care staff Monday-Sunday, 7 AM to 10 PM. Therefore, the work involves shifts both during the day and evening, every day of the week.
Who are you?
It is a plus if you have experience working as a nursing assistant or care staff, are training to become a nursing assistant, or are currently studying in health and medical care.
As a person, you are service-oriented and responsive to the user's needs with a genuine interest in helping people. You have good empathetic abilities, where you can put yourself in others' situations while maintaining professionalism.
You can work independently, take responsibility for your own performance, and seek solutions to challenges that arise. Furthermore, you thrive in collaboration with colleagues, contributing your knowledge and positive attitude.
As we work with people, we see that you maintain a calm and positive demeanor through the pace changes that occur during the workday.
You are proficient in the Swedish language, both spoken and written. You have a driver's license and can ride a bike.
