At Bräcke diakoni, we are currently looking for part-time and summer substitutes for Ginstgården, a care and nursing home where you help create community and everyday joy for the elderly. We are a non-profit organization and work with care, responsibility, and sustainability. With us, you will have a summer job where you make a difference – every day.

Your Job This Summer

As a substitute at Ginstgården, you will be part of a team that together creates a warm and safe everyday life for elderly people with cognitive illnesses. You will work as needed, from occasional shifts during the spring to longer, scheduled periods during the summer, quickly becoming an important part of the operation. Your job may involve:

• supporting routines and everyday tasks,
• participating in social activities such as conversations, reading, and gardening,
• documenting and performing medication delegation - after training and supervision by a nurse
• collaborating with colleagues and other professionals around the residents.

Who We Are Looking For

You are over 18 years old and want to work extra alongside your studies or other work. Perhaps you are studying to become a nursing assistant or nurse – or already have experience in care work. At Ginstgården, we need someone who is reliable and has a natural concern for people. You are calm and structured in your work approach, responsive to needs, take initiative when necessary, and enjoy collaboration and clear communication.

Your Qualifications

• Education as a nursing assistant
• Good Swedish in speech and writing, as well as basic computer skills
• Experience in care and nursing work, from jobs or internships, and with people with cognitive illnesses is an advantage, but not a requirement.
