At Bräcke diakoni, we are now looking for summer substitutes for the home care service Stolplyckan in Linköping City South. We are a faith-based organization and work with care, holistic responsibility, and long-term commitment. With us, you get a job where every meeting counts.

Your Job This Summer

As a summer substitute, your most important task is to create security and provide support in the customers' daily lives and home environments. Together with colleagues in home care, home nursing, and home rehabilitation, you contribute to a secure whole for the customer. You work as needed, from occasional shifts during the spring to longer, scheduled periods during the summer. Your job may involve:

• providing services at our sheltered housing and to customers in the local area,
• offering support in personal care,
• assisting with service tasks at home,
• documenting and performing medication delegation - after training and guidance from a nurse,
• encouraging activities such as breakfast clubs, game sessions, and outings,
• being a companion and social support in everyday life.

Who We Are Looking For

You are over 18 years old and want to work extra alongside your studies or another job. Perhaps you are studying to become a nursing assistant or nurse – or already have experience in care work. You thrive in a job where you sometimes work independently but are always part of a team. You are attentive to needs, take initiative when necessary, and meet people with respect and warmth.

Your Qualifications

• You are at least 18 years old
• You can ride a bike
• You speak and write fluently in Swedish, with a passing grade in Swedish 1 or SAS 1 (high school level) and have basic computer skills.
• Education or experience in care is an advantage, and experience from home care is a plus.

At home care Stolplyckan, we work together in a close-knit team where we support each other and create a good atmosphere in everyday life. The work is based at the sheltered housing Stolplyckan and Översten, with good bus connections and close to several neighborhoods. As part of Bräcke diakoni, we have holistic responsibility for home care, home nursing, and home rehabilitation in Linköping City South – which allows us to meet more needs and create a secure everyday life for our customers.
