Your new job

Working in home care means that you perform care and support work as well as service interventions in the client's home based on the implementation plan. As a trained care assistant, you will also become a permanent care contact. In your role, social documentation and communication with citizens, colleagues, and relatives are central parts of the job. We always work based on the client's needs and wishes with a dignified and professional approach characterized by respect, trust, and care, which are the foundations of our operations.

Your qualifications

Primarily, we are looking for someone who is a trained care assistant. Longer work experience in elderly care may replace the educational requirement. It is an advantage if you have previously worked in elderly care and home care.

You must master Swedish in speech, writing, and reading comprehension, as a central part of the job is to communicate with citizens and relatives, as well as to write documentation and read information relevant to the work.

A driving license (B) is a requirement for the position, and it is desirable if you have access to your own car, as public transport does not run as frequently in the evenings and on weekends.

You have a genuine interest in working with people and are service-oriented towards our clients. You remain calm in stressful situations and see opportunities in changes. Furthermore, you have the ability to collaborate with your colleagues and discuss and reason towards constructive solutions. The job requires you to be flexible and structured in your work. It is important that you take responsibility for your tasks and perform them with precision. As a person, we believe you are also stable, secure, and proactive.

Welcome to us

Lekeryd Home Care operates from central premises in Lekeryd. We travel to clients by car and are responsible for personal care and service in the client's home, where the work is varied and social. Currently, 15 regular employees work with us.

Good to know

The recruitment concerns 2 permanent positions as well as temporary/seasonal positions. Working hours are scheduled for days and evenings, weekdays and every other weekend with a varying schedule. Jönköping Municipality strives for full-time as the norm and always offers a 100% employment rate. You who apply have the opportunity to specify another desired working degree during an interview. We work with co-planning, which means that work in several home care groups will be relevant. A probationary period may be applied.
