The Role of Operational Buyer

We are now looking for a dedicated Operational Buyer who wants to take responsibility for their own suppliers and purchases for our Scandinavian customers. You will be part of a close-knit purchasing team of four people characterized by helpfulness and a strong team spirit in everyday life.

Responsibilities:

• Operational purchasing work: Responsible for carrying out and following up purchases from suppliers, as well as maintaining good relationships.

• Use of Visma and the purchasing system EazyStock: Work in EazyStock and Visma to optimize purchases and inventory, focusing on reducing costs and ensuring the correct inventory status.

• Control over items and suppliers: Keep control over your items and suppliers, including updating prices, delivery terms, and agreements.

• Quick actions: Be flexible and ready to act quickly when needed, handle unforeseen situations, and make quick decisions to ensure business continuity.

• Invoice management: Follow up and ensure that invoices and purchases match.

• Business development: Follow and drive projects to develop and streamline the purchasing department's processes.

• Transport: Ensure that our products are delivered optimally with contracted carriers.

• Reporting and follow-up: Follow up and report to the Team Leader. Ensure that you as a buyer follow up on your purchases and suppliers in a professional manner.

Qualifications:

• Relevant education and experience in purchasing, with a focus on operational purchasing work.

• Good knowledge of English.

• Good knowledge of Excel.

Meritorious

• Experience with business systems Visma and SAP.

• Experience with the inventory optimization tool EazyStock.

• Experience working with delivery plans for industrial customers.

• Experience in purchasing from Asia.

• German.
