About the role We are now looking for a Mechanic for our Mechanical Department. In this role, you will be part of our team and work on mechanical repairs and maintenance on vessels. You will work on various projects, including service and repairs of pumps, valves, heat exchangers, diesel engines, propellers, and much more.

The work involves both practical work on the vessels as well as following work orders to ensure that repairs and maintenance are carried out correctly and efficiently. You will also have daily contact with both colleagues and customers, which requires good collaboration skills and communication competence.

We are looking for someone who has:

• At least 2–3 years of experience in mechanical work, preferably within shipyard or industrial service

• Basic knowledge of hydraulics

• Experience in maintenance of construction machinery or trucks

• Experience with mechanical systems and preferably marine components, such as diesel engines, pumps, and valves

• A valid driver's license (manual)

• Good knowledge of Swedish and English in spoken form
