Repair Technician for Skanska's Large Projects Region Stockholm
Skanska's Large Projects Region Stockholm leads and executes some of the country's most complex and socially important construction projects – from bridges, tunnels, and ports to road and railway constructions that change how people move and live. We are behind projects such as Slussen, BECCS, Saltkajen in Norra Djurgårdsstaden, the expansion of the subway in Nacka, and SFR Forsmark – projects that are not only technically complicated but also crucial for Stockholm's future.
Within the region, we have a machinery group that, with its technical expertise, supports the projects in daily operations. We are now looking for a new colleague who wants to become a natural part of the team and drive the work together with us.
Varied daily work focusing on repairs and machinery
As a repair technician with us, you will be an important part of our dedicated machinery group, a smaller and close-knit team based at our local office in Upplands Väsby. Here you will have a varied daily routine where your knowledge of machinery will truly shine. We support each other in both big and small matters, and you will quickly become part of the community.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Repairing machinery
- Welding and manufacturing steel materials
- Repairing containers
- Inspecting and maintaining hydraulic pumps and jacks
- Assisting in the sale of used machinery and materials from completed projects
- Helping projects with repairs and guiding on how machinery works
- Handling simpler administration related to rentals
Repair Technician who values quality and good collaboration
We are looking for someone who wants to contribute with their skills as a repair technician and who thrives in a team where we support each other. You enjoy collaborating and also take your own initiatives when something needs to be resolved.
You work in a structured and meticulous manner, and your honest and clear communication makes it easy for others to work with you. You share our values and always prioritize safety and quality. With your positive attitude, you help us create a work environment where everyone feels safe and included.
The position requires:
- At least two years of experience in repairing and servicing machinery
- Experience in welding and manufacturing steel products
- Good knowledge of Swedish in both spoken and written form
- Basic IT skills
- Driver's license (B)
It is an advantage if you have previously held a forklift license, hot work certification, or overhead crane training. If you have completed a vehicle technology vocational education, that is also beneficial.
Welcome with your application by February 3rd
Please submit your application with a CV and cover letter. We will review all applications after the application deadline. If you have questions about the position, please contact Production Manager Niclas Johansson at phone 010-448 28 34.
