Train Technician at EuroMaint in Blackvreten

Do you have experience in mechanical or technical work and an interest in working within the railway industry? We are now looking for a dedicated train technician for our depot in Blackvreten, whose tasks involve keeping the Arlanda Express trains running.

About the Position

At the depot in Blackvreten, maintenance and service work is carried out on Arlanda Express trains. As a train technician, you will have a varied role and work with everything from simpler service tasks to more complex interventions in electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, or pneumatic systems. In this role, you will also perform self-checks and report deviations such as missed deliveries, risk observations, or operational disturbances.

The work is carried out according to established routines, and you will have protocols and other work documents to assist you. Depending on the nature of the work, you will work individually or in a group and are expected to contribute to good collaboration with colleagues and promote a strong team spirit.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone with a background in industry or another technical field. You should have good tool and mechanical skills and find it easy to read and interpret documentation and regulations. To succeed in this role, you are unpretentious, have good problem-solving abilities, and a strong focus on safety. We are looking for someone who is curious and ready to take on new challenges with an open and humble attitude.

Since the work is both individual and group-based, you understand the importance of good communication to promote collaboration. You are aware that effective communication is crucial for creating a functioning partnership, as this position involves both individual and group work. Since the Arlanda Express fleet consists of electric multiple units, we prefer candidates with some form of electrical training.

This position requires good Swedish language skills, both spoken and written, as well as a B driver's license.

Desirable Qualifications for the Position Include Knowledge in One or More of the Following Areas:

• Vehicle Mechanics
• Hydraulics and Pneumatics
• Mechatronics or experience as an industrial electrician
• Interpreting and applying technical diagrams and drawings

Additional Information

Location: Blackvreten, Arlandastad
Start Date: By agreement
Working Hours: Rolling 12-week schedule divided between daytime 07:00-16:00 and 14:15-00:00, and every fourth weekend 07:00-17:00.
Employment Type: Permanent position with a 6-month probation period.
