About us
The Enforcement Authority is a government agency with an important mission. We work closely with people in vulnerable situations. We help those who have not been paid and guide those who need to pay. We provide citizens and businesses with information and good service so they can make long-term and sustainable decisions. This requires knowledge, decisiveness, care, and courage. We contribute to a well-functioning society for the public and businesses – a society where debts and other claims are established and collected in a legally secure manner.
With us, you can expect challenging tasks that are also developing for you. When you leave work at the end of the day, you can be sure that you have done something that really counts – both for others and for yourself.
Good to know
The employment is permanent and begins with a six-month probationary period. You will be employed as an IT administrator. The Enforcement Authority offers the possibility of remote work by agreement with the employer.
Working in the government means that you follow the government value base. There are also special requirements for judgment, security thinking, and compliance with applicable laws. We ask questions during the interview about any previous criminality and shortcomings in previous employment. For final candidates, these questions are also asked to referees. We also collect information about debts registered with the Enforcement Authority, bankruptcy, and business prohibitions. The information obtained is weighed in the overall assessment of your suitability for the current position.
Employment with us may involve placement in a security class. A security assessment with a background check according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585) may therefore be conducted before a decision on employment. For some of our tasks in the security class, Swedish citizenship is required.
