Unit's Mission

Within the unit's area of responsibility, there are products and building blocks related to capabilities within HR, IT process support, and monitoring job seekers.

The unit is responsible for the generic foundation and platform for the Swedish Public Employment Service's IT process support (ServiceNow) and robotic processes via RPA (UiPath). The IT process support platform includes, among other things, the agency's IT Service Management, HRSD module in ServiceNow, self-service portal, incident management, and handling of job seekers' activity reports.

Job Description

As a ServiceNow developer, you will work both independently and with your colleagues in our agile ServiceNow teams. The work takes place in an advanced technical environment with many system integrations in a modern IT landscape.

The following tasks will be part of your daily work:

  • In this role, you will work with requirements gathering, configuration, development, and testing of solutions on the ServiceNow platform. You will closely collaborate with your team to discuss ideas, provide support, and develop smart solutions. An important part of the job is to ensure that development follows our design principles and guidelines, as well as maintaining close communication with users and other stakeholders, primarily our development teams. You enjoy solving complex and exciting challenges and have a curious approach where you continuously explore new technology.

We are looking for someone who is engaged, structured, and attentive. You have an agile and solution-oriented working style, are meticulous, and take great responsibility for your deliveries. You have a clear drive to get things done, are flexible, and can adapt to changes. Furthermore, you have a strong desire to develop and are eager to learn new things.

Our Offer

The position is a permanent full-time employment that may start with a six-month probationary period. The place of employment is Solna, Härnösand, or Östersund.

Basic Requirements for the Position

  • Post-secondary education or work experience that the employer deems relevant, as well as documented training in the ServiceNow platform, preferably certifications
  • At least 3 years of current experience and deep knowledge from development and configuration of the ServiceNow platform such as Workflow Studio (Playbooks, Flow Designer, Decision Table), Business Rules, Scripts, and tables
  • Fluent in Swedish or English, both spoken and written

Other Qualifications for the Position

  • Experience in agile development and working in teams
  • Experience and knowledge in ITSM (ITIL), HRSD, and Customer Service Management
  • Experience with the SAFe framework
  • Experience and good knowledge in web development with JavaScript, HTML, and CSS, as well as integrations and information management between different system supports
