Assignment Description:

• We are looking for a Senior Automation Engineer for project deliveries within the pharmaceutical and Life Science industry.
• The assignment is based in Stockholm and requires 100% on-site presence.
• In this role, you will work with development, configuration, and commissioning of Siemens-based automation systems in GMP-regulated environments. You will be part of multidisciplinary project teams and contribute across the full automation lifecycle from requirements definition to commissioning and validation.

What you will work on:

• Program, configure, and commission Siemens-based automation systems
• Work with process equipment and production systems
• Participate in requirements engineering, FAT, SAT, and technical documentation
• Deliver GMP-compliant automation solutions
• Integrate DCS solutions with PLC, SCADA, and MES systems
• Work with batch control and recipe management systems
• Collaborate with process engineers, electrical/instrumentation teams, QA, and suppliers

What you bring:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in industrial automation within the process industry
• Strong hands-on experience with Siemens PCS7 and TIA Portal
• Experience working in Life Science or pharmaceutical environments
• Knowledge of DCS, PLC, SCADA, and MES integrations
• Experience with batch control and recipe management systems
• Solid understanding of GMP regulations and validation activities
• Ability to work independently in complex, regulated project environments
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate in cross-functional teams
