About Us

Masthugget Gynecology and Obstetrics Clinic is centrally located in Gothenburg in new and fresh premises near Järntorget and works with outpatient care that does not require hospital resources.

In Regionhälsan, there are also midwife clinics in Gothenburg and Southern Bohuslän, where there is a specialist unit for pregnant women with substance abuse as well as an ultrasound clinic that performs KUB and early ultrasound. The clinic for pregnant and recently delivered women – Agnes, is a sub-acute outpatient clinic for patients who can be treated in outpatient care. The operation is conducted in close collaboration with obstetrics at SU/Östra, which enables a cohesive care chain and operational collaboration between inpatient and outpatient care. We also have a training institution for ST physicians in both gynecology and general medicine.

At Masthugget, we are a team of a total of 50 employees consisting of gynecologists, obstetricians, midwives, nursing assistants, and administrative staff. Together we create a safe and developing work environment.

About the Job

As a specialist physician with us at the obstetrics clinic, you will work both with our outpatient clinic for pregnant and recently delivered women as well as within other specialist maternity care.

Within the gynecology clinic, we work in teams with different focus areas, such as endometriosis, dysplasia, and contraception.

With us, you will have the opportunity to contribute your expertise, develop our working methods, and be involved in the continued development of the operation. We have regular rounds and physician meetings that create good conditions for collegial learning, experience exchange, and improvement work. As a new specialist, you will also be offered a clear introduction and continuing education plan to get into the work in the best way.

About You

We are looking for you who are a licensed physician with a specialist certificate in obstetrics and gynecology and who has a genuine interest in working in outpatient care. If you also have a particular commitment to areas such as dysplasia, contraception, or maternity care, we see it as an advantage. It is meritorious if you have supervisor training, are a colposcopist, or have several years of experience after your specialist examination. We also welcome you who have recently become a specialist and want to continue developing in a stimulating and learning environment. As a person, you are flexible, engaged, and have a professional attitude, while enjoying working in a team and contributing to good collaboration. We place great emphasis on personal suitability for the position.

Conditions

The position is located at the Clinic for Pregnant and Recently Delivered Women (Agnes) and the physician clinic for pregnant women. If interested, there is an opportunity to combine the position with work within specialist maternity care and/or other parts of the operation.

Our goal is to eventually provide you with the opportunity to combine work in both obstetrics and gynecology at Masthugget's gynecology and obstetrics clinic.
