About our job opening

As an operating room nurse at our Operations Center in Skene, we offer you a responsible and stimulating job where you will be involved in the development of our operating department and area.

You will receive an introduction tailored to your needs.

You will perform the usual tasks of an operating room nurse in the operating department. The work is scheduled during daytime, Monday - Friday, with a slightly later shift once a week. You will not work weekends or holiday weekends, and we are closed on all public holidays.

About us

The operating department in Skene is a smaller day surgery unit with three operating rooms for planned surgical activities, along with a postoperative area and sterile unit. Most surgeries are performed on a day surgery basis, but some of our patients require extended postoperative care with overnight stays.

We have about 35 employees working in the operating department, and the activities conducted are within orthopedics and surgery. The department is open Monday to Friday. During the summer, we close the operations for a few weeks, and everyone takes vacation almost simultaneously.

We work in teams and have a very positive, engaged, and collaborative attitude towards each other and the work.

The Operations Center Skene is in a development phase where we will focus even more on high production through efficiency, good workflows, good teamwork, and quick decision-making processes. We belong to the surgical, orthopedic, and ear-nose-throat areas.

Your profile

You who are applying for the position are a licensed nurse with specialized training in operating room nursing. We place great emphasis on personal suitability, seeking someone with good collaboration skills, a positive attitude towards service, and a willingness to engage in development work. We also value a patient-focused approach and the ability to work independently.
