Description

We need to strengthen our team with a nurse for the Endocrine Clinic at Skaraborg Hospital.

The position also includes being a contact nurse at the Diagnostic Center. Are you the one we are looking for?

The Medicine Clinic consists of the Endocrine Clinic, Diabetes Clinic, Diagnostic Center, and Anticoagulation Clinic. In addition to these specialties, we investigate and treat patients with general internal medical diseases. The Medicine Clinic consists of both doctor-led and nurse-led clinics where we work in teams. Here, nurses with specialist competence in the above areas work. As a nurse, you will have your own patient visits, telephone counseling, and be available to assist at the doctor's clinic when needed. The position integrates with a suitable care department within the area of operations, with weekend work every fourth weekend. During the summer, you will be placed in inpatient care for a limited period. This integration provides opportunities for engagement and participation in developing collaboration between outpatient and inpatient care.

About the position

The Endocrine Clinic investigates and treats diseases caused by hormonal imbalances in the pituitary gland, thyroid, adrenal glands, and testes. The Diagnostic Center performs investigations according to two standardized care pathways (SVF). Cancer without a primary tumor and serious non-specific symptoms that may indicate cancer.

As an Endocrine Nurse, you will have your own patient visits, telephone counseling, sample collection, conduct investigations and treatments. As a contact nurse at the Diagnostic Center, you are part of the team and the one who supports the patient during the investigation. It is advantageous if you have basic knowledge/prior knowledge in endocrinology or as a contact nurse in cancer care. Training in these areas is included in the position. Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse.
