As a nursing assistant with us, you will have a varied, fun, and meaningful role.

You will work both in our dementia units and somatic units, giving you the chance to develop, exchange experiences, and contribute to a strong team. We are looking for someone who loves collaboration, sees opportunities, and wants to spread joy at work!

You will help shape the day for our elderly through care, social interaction, and support during meals and personal hygiene. Activities are our focus. We want our elderly to have an active, rich, and joyful life, and you play an important role in that. You will also work as a permanent care contact, have delegation, and write social documentation.

Working hours and benefits:

  • You will work days, evenings, and every other weekend according to the schedule – usually 06:45–15:00, 07:15–15:30, 13:00–21:30, or 14:00–22:00.
  • We apply a 37-hour work week for day and evening staff.
  • With us, you will work three out of six weekends per schedule period – but if you want to take more shifts, you will also receive an extra 1,000 SEK for each additional weekend worked (up to four occasions)!
  • You will receive 2,000 SEK in wellness benefits.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is a trained nursing assistant. If you have experience working in special housing or home care, we see that as a merit. If you have previously worked with quality registers BPSD and Senior Alert, we see that as a plus. You need to have good computer skills and preferably experience with social documentation.

We are looking for someone who understands the importance of good interaction with clients, relatives, and colleagues. You have a strong ability to collaborate with a sense of responsibility for both the tasks and contributing to a good climate at the workplace. You are confident in yourself and in your professional role. You are eager to help develop the operations, enjoy when things happen around you, and take on new challenges with great curiosity and flexibility.

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Good to know

Provided that you meet the requirements for the position, it is mandatory to undergo a digital language test to ensure competence at the B2 level according to the Council of Europe’s standard before the interview. Please note that the process will be interrupted if the language test is not passed. You will need to identify yourself with Bank-ID to take the language test.

The Care and Social Services Administration consists of four departments: Assistance and Health, Functional Support, Elderly Care, and Support and Development. The Care and Social Services Committee is politically responsible for the administration's work. Our operations involve providing care, support, and service to elderly individuals and those in need of functional support. We also perform some health and medical care. The vision includes that our efforts should be carried out safely, securely, with dignity, and with influence.

We have about 850 employees working around the municipality, and we are a mix of support assistants, nursing assistants, nurses, support educators, assistance officers, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, care supervisors, and more.
