The Absolut Company (TAC) has a global responsibility for the production, innovation, packaging development, and marketing of a wide range of premium spirits brands. The brands include the iconic Absolut Vodka, the leading flavored rum, Malibu, and the best coffee liqueur, Kahlúa. The Absolut Company, headquartered in Stockholm, is part of Pernod Ricard, a world leader in wine and spirits.

We are looking for summer substitutes for our operations in Åhus, where Absolut Vodka is produced with pride and high quality! We offer full-time summer positions in various functions. Work is conducted Monday to Friday, either during the day or in two shifts depending on the role.

The positions extend from early/mid-June to the end of August, and to be considered, you need to be able to work for a continuous period of 8–10 weeks. Below you can read more about our different roles.

Bottling Operator

As a Bottling Operator, you, along with your colleagues, are responsible for an area within Bottling. Your tasks include replenishing materials, monitoring machines, and addressing any disruptions. You ensure that production follows the plan and maintains high quality. The role also includes reporting machine breakdowns and downtime as well as performing operator maintenance. We are looking for someone who is technically interested and preferably has a high school education with a vocational technical focus (meritorious). The position is scheduled for two shifts, Monday to Friday.

Blending Operator

As a Blending Operator, you, along with your colleagues, are responsible for an area within Vodka blending. The tasks include receiving aromas, managing recipes, and controlling and monitoring processes. You report machine breakdowns and downtime and perform operator maintenance. We are looking for someone with technical interest and a high school education with a vocational technical focus or equivalent. Experience working in a process environment is meritorious. The position is scheduled for two shifts, Monday to Friday.

Forklift Driver – Material Handling

As a Forklift Driver in Material Handling, you service all production lines. Your main tasks are forklift driving and working as a machine and warehouse operator. You receive glass and wraps from trucks, plan storage spaces, and are responsible for the transport system for glass pallets. You ensure that empty bottles are fed onto the line, handle labels and wraps, and are responsible for palletizing boxes. The role also includes reporting machine breakdowns and downtime as well as performing operator maintenance. A forklift license (counterbalance forklift) and a driver's license for passenger cars (B) are required for the position. The position is scheduled for two shifts, Monday to Friday.

Warehouse Operator – Port Warehouse

As a Warehouse Operator in our Port Warehouse, you are responsible for loading containers and trucks, incoming deliveries, and order picking. You work in a warehouse-controlled (Astro) fully automated high-bay warehouse and handle loading in the order system with forklift terminals. A forklift license (counterbalance forklift) and a driver's license for passenger cars (B) are required for the position. Experience with container forklifts and forklift terminals is meritorious. The position is scheduled for two shifts, Monday to Friday.

Store Worker

As a Store Worker, you, along with your colleagues, are responsible for the Store in Åhus. Your tasks mainly include transportation between our facilities. The role also includes unpacking incoming goods and entering them into our system. Daily supervision and inventory of the store are also included. We are looking for someone who wants to work in a smaller team, dares to take their own initiatives, and enjoys when one day is not the same as the other. The position is scheduled for daytime, Monday to Friday. A B driver's license is required.

Cleaner

As a Cleaner with us, you have a varied role in a team consisting of several colleagues. The work is diverse and may also involve tasks in a reception kitchen. We are looking for someone who is self-driven, enjoys taking their own initiatives, and is meticulous in their work. Previous experience in cleaning work or equivalent is meritorious. The position is scheduled for daytime, Monday to Friday.

Kitchen Assistant

As a Kitchen Assistant, you, along with your colleagues, are responsible for breakfast service, dishwashing, baking desserts, assisting with cooking, packing goods, receiving deliveries, cleaning, and assisting with serving and preparing snack orders. We are looking for someone who is service-oriented, positive, and meticulous, and who enjoys working in a team. Experience from similar work is meritorious. The position is scheduled for daytime, Monday to Friday.

ABOUT YOU

We are looking for someone who has an interest in production and who wants to share our pride in Absolut Vodka. As a person, you are responsible, curious, and positive, and you enjoy working together with others. To be considered, you must be at least 18 years old or turn 18 by the start of employment. You must have a good command of the Swedish language, both spoken and written.
