Axelsbergs care and nursing home is a residence for the elderly over 65 years old. At Axelsbergs care and nursing home, 54 people with different focuses, including dementia and somatic care, reside. Axelsbergs care and nursing home is located near Axelsberg center, close to the subway station.

You will be employed at the entire Axelsbergs care and nursing home and receive a basic placement in one unit. Your work involves being part of our resource team and being booked by other departments when the need arises. This means you will work in all our 6 departments.

Your role

As a nursing assistant, you will provide good care, social support, and service interventions to the elderly according to decisions made by the assistance officer. You will help and support care recipients in their daily lives to promote their functional ability and assist with their social contacts. You will be responsible for ensuring that the elderly participate in various activities and receive stimulation for their well-being, as well as offering them opportunities for outdoor activities. You will also maintain contact with relatives, participate in care planning, and social documentation. Additionally, you will follow the routines and regulations in place at the workplace.

Your qualifications and experience

You must have a protected professional title as a nursing assistant.

You should have worked in care and nursing for at least 1-3 years. You should be accustomed to documentation. You should have experience in the profession.

We will place great emphasis on personal qualities and good references. We need someone who is secure, stress-resistant, and has personal maturity. You should also be service-oriented and attentive to the needs of care recipients. You have good collaboration skills and are willing to share your own knowledge and experiences while being open to learning from others. You have empathy in your interactions with others and a genuine interest in working in the profession. You are expected to be flexible, as the job requires it.
