About Nyköping Middle School Alpha

At Alpha, there are around 500 students. Here, there is a school library, student health services, and all specialized classrooms for natural sciences, home economics, music, and crafts. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are organized into work teams where teachers, together with team mentors, are responsible for 3-6 classes in the same grade and approximately 75-150 students. Each work team has its own base where students have most of their teaching, their lockers, and where teachers have their workrooms. This is the student's secure belonging during their middle school years, and this foundational idea is an important hub in the organization of Nyköping Middle School.

QUALIFICATIONS

You have a clear pedagogical insight and the ability and willingness to implement the curriculum goals in your work. You are an educator who challenges and stimulates students to develop, and you have a strong belief in the power of collaborative work to create conditions for student learning. You are solution-focused and flexible in your work, and together with your colleagues, you seek the best possible ways to reach all students through an inclusive approach.

You have a teaching license with qualifications in Swedish. Previous experience teaching in middle school is an advantage.
