Just 150 meters from Linköping Central Station lies Scandic Frimurarehotellet – the hotel where tradition meets the future. Located right next to the Cathedral in one of Linköping's most beautiful buildings, our modern and relaxed hotel has roots dating back to 1912. The hotel is the largest in Östergötland and hosts everything from meetings and weddings to large banquets.

We are nearly a hundred employees, with origins from all over the world, just like our guests. Being a large hotel and having shared management with the three Scandic hotels in Linköping provides excellent development opportunities for our staff.

We are now looking for a Night Receptionist for Scandic Frimurarehotellet.

What does the role entail?

As a receptionist, you are responsible for ensuring our guests receive world-class service. You are the spider in the web, ensuring that the guest is always the focus. You will go through the arrival list and pay attention to the details, ensuring that guests' wishes are fulfilled. You always have a smile on your face and a creative solution in your back pocket. You can solve most issues and are a star at turning an unhappy guest into a satisfied one. Your workplace is our lobby, where you meet most guests. Your responsibilities also include administrative work, security tasks, and sales activities.

The work at the reception involves checking in and out hotel guests, welcoming them, and providing the information they need about their stay. You will manage bookings in the Opera Cloud system and handle administrative tasks related to guests and security. All work is done with guest satisfaction and sales in focus.

The hotel is open 24/7, so it is important that you enjoy working nights.

Who are you?

To fit into this role, we believe you have well-developed social skills and can handle many different things happening at once. It is very important that you can convey good hospitality to the hotel’s guests.

You also have experience and knowledge of working with a computer as a work tool.

Since the job largely consists of communicating with guests, good knowledge of Swedish and English is a prerequisite. If you speak another language, it is an advantage.

However, the most important factors are your personal qualities and attitude. To fit into the role, you need to be a responsive and unpretentious team player who takes great responsibility for your tasks and the overall result.

Information about the position

The position is a permanent part-time employment. Working hours are 7 days every other week, Thursday to Thursday.
