KFUM Brevik's Course and Camp Center (Breviksstiftelsen) is part of the world's largest youth organization YMCA through KFUM Norrköping. For nearly 70 years, we have been running camp activities at our camp center near Stegeborg in the S:t Anna archipelago. We are a non-profit organization that provides meeting places where young people can develop to their full potential. We take a holistic view of the individual and meet the current needs of young people. KFUM Brevik does this through our own summer camps, as well as through rentals and activities for external groups such as schools, associations, organizations, and congregations.

The staff organization consists of both permanent staff, a group of seasonal employees, and about 100 volunteer summer leaders who engage in Brevik's camps each year. Approximately 500 children and young people participate in our summer camps every year.

We are looking for two cooks who, together with our kitchen manager, can work from April to October 2026. There is an opportunity for additional work earlier in the spring and later in the autumn. The positions are 80-100%, depending on your interest. We expect that you have experience working in a kitchen and can prepare meals for over 100 people. You love food, preferably cooking it from scratch. You are accustomed to preparing special diets and preferably also vegetarian dishes that suit everyone.

The role includes supervising our young kitchen assistants during the summer camp as well as some responsibility for cleaning and laundry on the premises. Since we are a small staff group, you should also be prepared to help out where needed when we do not have eating groups on the premises.

Note that there is no regular public transport to the camp. Travel may be arranged with Östgötatrafik's service "Närtrafik".
