Do you want to work hands-on with prototype development and advanced manufacturing techniques? Here you get the chance to work closely with engineers, development projects, and modern workshop equipment in a role where you both produce prototypes and explore new manufacturing methods.
About the positionWe are looking for a workshop technician for a leading company in the life science industry. You will be part of a prototype workshop with several machining machines and growing 3D printing capacity. Here you will manufacture prototype parts for development projects, work with machine operation, and support the 3D printing team with post-processing such as polishing, tumbling, and grinding.
The role suits you who thrive in a technical, practical environment and want to develop within modern manufacturing methods. You work closely with workshop technicians, 3D technicians, and engineers – in a team where knowledge sharing and curiosity are central.
About youYou are a person who enjoys working practically, solving problems, and contributing to a team. You are curious, collaborative, and comfortable working closely with machines and various manufacturing methods.
Formal qualificationsExperience in workshop work or workshop technical environment
Good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing
Understanding of technical documentation
Interest in practical work and machine operation
Experience with CAD (preferably for metalworking)
Experience with 3D printing or post-processing
Experience with milling, turning, or other machining
Good knowledge of English
