The Bålsta facility is one of Northern Europe's most modern concrete paving stone factories with a very high degree of automation. The facility is also one of Europe's most productive plants for concrete roof tiles. Bålsta is home to Benders' largest central warehouse.

Do you want to be part of a dynamic team that manufactures quality products?

At our facility in Bålsta, about 60 employees work together to produce around 75,000 concrete roof tiles and 4,000 square meters of paving stones per shift.

We are now looking for an engaged machine operator to join our team.

Responsibilities Awaiting You

In the role of machine operator, you will work with setting up for product changes, ordering concrete in the mixing plant, and making adjustments in an automated flow. You will control the parameters of the paving stone machine to ensure the right quality and performance of the manufactured products, perform ongoing operator maintenance, and clean the machines. Other tasks at the facility may occur.

Who Are We Looking For?

The job does not require a specific vocational education, but we prefer that you have:

  • Industrial high school education
  • Basic mechanical knowledge and a strong sense of production and quality
  • Previous experience in process control in the manufacturing industry or similar tasks
  • Experience working with concrete

As a person, you are quick to learn, practically inclined, and have the ability to see what needs to be done. You have good collaboration skills and enjoy working both in a team and independently. You are a cheerful and positive person who contributes to the team's good atmosphere and results. The work can be physically demanding, so good physical condition is desirable.

Requirements for the Position

  • At least an AM driving license
  • Forklift license is a plus

Other Information

The position is a full-time employment with a start as soon as possible according to agreement. A fixed-term employment with the possibility of extension.

We are looking for a person for our rolling 4x4 shift with working hours from 05:40 to 17:30 (working four days, off four days, working four days, etc.), including holidays. You will have holidays off during major holidays.
