We are now looking for you, a trained nursing assistant with a driver's license, who wants to work with us in home care Sandhult!

The Health and Elderly Administration in Borås City works towards the goal that both younger and older residents in need of care, support, and service, as well as health care and preventive health work, should have a good life every day.

The administration consists of about 2,500 employees, of which about 700 work within municipal home care.

We who work in home care Sandhult are a wonderful team consisting of nursing assistants, care assistants, managers, coordinators, and home care coordinators. With us, men and women from different backgrounds work, enriching our operations and broadening our competence.

Home care Sandhult is based in spacious and pleasant premises in central Sandared. There are also good parking opportunities for you as an employee. We mainly work in Sandared, Sandhult, Sjömarken, but also Viared and surrounding areas, where we primarily get around by car or electric bike.

As a nursing assistant in home care Sandhult, you will work closely with people in need of care and support in their own homes. The tasks include personal care, assistance during meals, social interaction, and walks. You will also perform health and medical tasks by delegation and document in our journal systems.

With us, it is the care assistant who primarily takes responsibility for performing service tasks such as cleaning and laundry so you can focus on providing good care and building strong relationships.

As a nursing assistant in home care, you will also be a fixed care contact. This means that you actively work to create secure relationships based on trust and individualized coordinated home care efforts. The work is varied, and you work both independently and together with colleagues. The job requires a high level of commitment and that you actively participate in developing and improving the operations.

The working hours are scheduled for weekdays, evenings, and weekends, including holidays.

You are a trained nursing assistant with an interest in working with people. To succeed in the role, you are responsible and engaged with the ability to understand other people's situations. By being attentive to individual needs and providing good service, you create good and safe care and support. You have the ability to collaborate, create, and maintain good relationships with both clients, relatives, and colleagues.

The job requires that you can speak and write in Swedish and that you can cycle. Our operational and documentation systems are a prerequisite for us to fulfill our mission, so you need to have basic digital competence.

Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.

A B driver's license is required.

As of July 1, 2023, the title of nursing assistant became a protected professional title. This means that a professional certificate from the National Board of Health and Welfare is required to hold the title of nursing assistant. You need to present the certificate before a possible employment. You can apply for the certificate on the National Board of Health and Welfare's website.     

If you have a care assistant education, you will be employed as a care assistant.

Interviews are conducted continuously during the application period.

Before a possible job offer, an acceptable extract from the police criminal record must be presented.

We primarily intend to hire permanently, but a fixed-term employment in the form of a temporary position or special fixed-term employment may also be relevant.
