Engaged Care Assistants Wanted for New Somatic Unit!
Now you have the opportunity to be part of something from the start!
In the spring, we will open a new somatic unit and are looking for engaged care assistants who want to help build an operation in an exciting startup phase.
The unit will open in May 2026 in temporary premises before moving to Forellen. The somatic unit will accommodate 8 residents and will be part of a joint team with our already established departments in geriatric psychiatry and dementia located at Forellen. Here you will be offered close collaboration, the opportunity to influence work methods, and contribute to safe and qualitative care.
As a care assistant, you will have a fun and flexible role! Therefore, we are looking for someone who is a team player and wants to contribute to the team through the exchange of skills, development, job satisfaction, and a flexible working approach. Your duties include caregiving, and the content of your shifts will be based on the needs and wishes of the elderly. This may involve social interaction with our elderly residents, assisting with meals, and personal hygiene.
With us, you will be scheduled to work three out of six weekends during a schedule period. If you wish to work more than three weekends, you will receive an additional 1000 SEK gross for each extra shift worked. One shift corresponds to one occasion, and you can work a maximum of four extra occasions as long as you are permanently employed. Working hours vary between day and evening as well as weekends. Common working hours are 06:45-15:30, 07:00-16:30, 13:00-21:00, and 15:00-22:00. We apply a 37-hour workweek for our staff working day and evening shifts.
Qualifications
We are looking for you who are a trained care assistant. Experience from work in special housing or home care is an advantage. The same applies if you have worked with the quality register Senior Alert.
We are looking for someone who understands the importance of good interaction with users, relatives, and colleagues. You have a strong ability to collaborate and a sense of responsibility for both the tasks and contributing to a good climate in the workplace. You are confident in yourself and your professional role. You are eager to contribute to the development of the operation, enjoy when things happen around you, and take on new challenges with great curiosity and flexibility.
Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
Warm welcome with your application!
